I took a taxi to back to the Yangon Airport.  Yangon Airport is modern looking and quite nice.  There are even some lounges.  Unfortunately, I was in economy class on my Malaysia Airlines flight from Yangon to Kuala Lumpur, so I didn't have lounge access.  Soon enough, it was time to board my flight.

I'd never heard of Malaysia Airlines until a few weeks ago.  I wasn't expecting much, but when I boarded I was pleasantly surprised.  The plane was brand new, and the seats looked like nobody had ever sat in them before.  There was even seatback TVs with tons of content.  They had all the latest movies and tons of TV shows.  The content was way better than Asiana.  I forgot to snap a picture of the seats, but here's one from the interweb.

After takeoff, the flight attendants came around with a meal service.  There were two options -- chicken and fish, as well as free alcoholic beverages.  The meal was very tasty and flavorful.

A couple of episodes of Modern Family later, we landed in Kuala Lumpur.  The Kuala Lumpur airport is really nice.  I really wanted to go into the city and visit Petronas Towers, but unfortunately there was no time.

Duration: 0:55 hrs
Class: Business

I boarded my flight to Singapore, and this time I was in business class.  This plane was older than the last one and there weren't seatback TVs, but it was still nice.  Since this flight was less than hour long, there was no meal.  They did serve beverages and snacks in business class.

After the beverage/snack service, we began our descent into Singapore where the real fun was about to begin.

  1. Wow, has MH Business class between KUL-SIN reduced to such standard, just a packet of nuts and a piece of Ferraro Rocher.
